At the Gretna City Council meeting held on October 5, 2021, Jeff Miller was presented with the ‘Appointed Official Award’ from the Nebraska Planning and Zoning Association (NPZA). The NPZA held their yearly conference in September 2021 in Kearney, NE. Jeff was not able to attend at that time.
Jeff received this award based on the following:
- His work on the City of Gretna annexation plan and the court challenges that lead to the final approval of the annexation by the Nebraska Supreme Court.
- His guidance and leadership with the Planning Commission and Board of Adjustments members for the City of Gretna.
- His review and updates to the Gretna Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Regulations.
The award is presented by Dan Giittinger, 2nd Vice President of the NPZA.
