The City’s Contractor, NL&L Concrete, is set to begin concrete panel reconstruction on Gruenther Road west of the BNSF railroad tracks and on McKenna Avenue south of Westplains Road on Tuesday, May 27th. Construction is expected to last 3 days, weather permitting.
The Contractor will remove panels in each area and replace with new concrete pavement within a couple working days.
Both areas will include a full street closure with no access through the construction zone. Residents are advised to use 216th Street, Angus Street, and Lincoln Road as detours around construction to access HWY 6/31. We appreciate your patience during construction.
