🚧 Parking Striping Notice – McKenna Avenue 🚧
The City of Gretna Public Works Department will begin parking striping on Wednesday, June 18, weather permitting.
While this work won’t significantly impact traffic flow, parking will be temporarily restricted along parts of the street to allow the paint to dry. Please avoid parking in marked areas during this time. Last fall, Public Works removed the white brick sections from the straight parking lane on McKenna. This updated striping will introduce angled parking, which will improve traffic flow when parking is full.
Paint dries in approximately 30 minutes, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation as we make these improvements!
