OPPD project prompts 180th Street lane restrictions
OPPD is relocating transmission poles along 180th Street, starting at Aurora Street and progressing south to Schram Road. Their phased work began Monday, November 6, and is expected to last four months. During this time, segments of 180th Street traffic lanes will be restricted, and traffic flaggers will direct vehicles.
The closures will be limited from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, to accommodate rush-hour and school traffic. Please use caution in the area.
Pavement work on 180th Street
- Starting Friday, Nov. 10 at 9 a.m., pavement will be replaced on the northbound lanes of 180th Street near Jennifer Road. 180th Street will remain open but drivers can expect lane closures.
- Starting Saturday, Nov. 11 at 6 a.m., a portion of the roundabout on Lincoln Road will be closed to traffic for pavement replacement. Southbound 180th Street will close at the Camelback roundabout.
Both areas are expected to reopen by 6 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 13.
