The City of Gretna and Gretna Recreational Softball and Baseball are getting ready for ball season at Gretna Crossing Park (Sponsored by United Republic Bank) Athletics area. Ballfields are being raked, weeds are being sprayed and fertilizer is being laid. We have seen some dogs and their people on the ballfields and don't want any furry friends to be affected by any treatment. Be aware that dogs are not allowed on the ballfields and are to use the dog parks that are provided for off-leash activities on the East side of the park. As a reminder, all dogs must be on a leash throughout the entire park unless inside the dog park fences. Call City Hall if you have any additional questions.
