Traffic Route Change for Visitors to Gretna Crossing Park & Gretna Crossing YMCA
We’ve received an increase in calls from residents in the Lakeview neighborhood about traffic concerns. To help keep the area safe, all visitors heading to Gretna Crossing Park or the Gretna Crossing YMCA are to avoid using Jeannie Lane.
Instead, continue south on S 204th Street and use the Jansen Drive entrance. This small adjustment helps reduce neighborhood traffic, prevent speeding, and avoid close calls involving children and pets. To make this easier, we will be installing wayfinding signs to help guide visitors directly to the Jansen Drive entrance - so keep an eye out for those!
Jansen Drive also offers a safer, wider two-way access point for both entering and exiting the park. Built specifically for the traffic it will receive.
